Refinement: Half in French oak barrels 65 hl (where also the fermentation takes place), half in barriques for 12 months, afterwards 18 months in bottles.
Colour: Purple- red of great intensity with brilliant silky highlights.
Aroma: Complex, delicate and generous, with great personality; scents of maraschino cherry, wild berries, chocolate and coffee.
Taste: Rich, generous and delicate, with superb balance and persistence.
DEVELOPEMENT:It is already excellent after 3-4 years; it can age up very well to 10-12 years.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 17°-18° C (63° / 65° F)
PAIRINGS: Excellent with white truffle dishes, roasts and game.
