A landmark business, founded in 1859 by my great-great-grandfather Domenico, originally from Ovada, after returning from the Crimean War. Always growers, producers and refiners of Barbera, our company extends over 15 hectares of property in the stupendous crew of San Michele on the heights of Nizza Monferrato, today it is run by Marco Pesce, oenologist, the fifth generation of the family.

Our Nizza is aged on average 9 to 12 months in 225-litre barriques and 500-litre tonneaux, then left for a further 6 months to refine in the cellar in the bottle.
